What this opportunity is really like
Here’s the short version before you leave Pathfind to investigate the official details.
What you would do
You spend four weeks living on a UC campus inside one research cluster — robotics, AI, marine science, and others — working alongside university faculty and a small cohort of other students. Expect project and lab work in your cluster rather than a survey of everything.
Why it might be worth your time
You get a month inside a UC research setting before you've even applied to college, and the cluster structure keeps the four weeks focused on one subject instead of sampling broadly.
Is it a good fit?
Listed for grades 10–12, and you commit to a single cluster, so it's pitched at students ready to go deep in one STEM area.
